A camp experience connecting God, people, and music.

What is EYMC?

Starting as a small choir camp in the early 1960’s, Episcopal Youth Music Camp has been hosting an overnight camp experience for youth entering 3rd through 12th grade.

At EYMC, campers can experience a range of musical adventures including:

Cello Player smiling

Violin, cello, viola, and upright bass: We've got all the strings covered. Our orchestra is an awesome time for both novice and advanced string musicians.

The EYMC band is a rootin' tootin' time for musicians of all skill levels. Whether you are a brass, woodwind, or percussion player, you'll fit right in!

Led by professionally trained choral experts, campers get a chance to sing their hearts out to tradition hymns as well as musical theater pieces. We even throw a few campfire songs in there for good measure.

Theater / Acting

We take full advantage of Camp Heartlands facilities (including their stage / amphitheater) by with musical theater, skit night, and other performance related activities

Guitar playing camper

Guitar & Drums

What would camp be without guitars around the campfire? Campers get to experience this camp staple by getting involved with the campfire songs and some liturgical music.

Campers get their groove on and can learn a bunch of different kinds of dance moves. We even put on a musical dance number at the end of the week!

Camp Counselors and Program Staff

Our program staff and camp counselors consist of highly qualified professionals. Church musicians,  children’s & youth ministers, clergy, and teachers are some of the professionals who volunteer at EYMC.

We also have a Leadership Team of young adults who have exceeded the maximum camper age, but want to keep experiencing EYMC during their young adult years. These are a group of post – high school youth who want to develop leadership skills, improve their team-working ability, and have a good time doing it!
